Welcome to The Alexander Benjamin House. We invite you to stay in our charming traditional Victorian inn. The world around this structure has changed in the past 100 years, but, little has on its foundation. Built circa 1880 by Wellington Weaver and his wife Fiana Andreas Weaver, this family treasure has been passed down from generation to generation.
For all of its existence, this home has served the community as either a general store, apartments, or a post office (which is currently still on the premises!) The existing barn and garages served as a livery stable and implement shop. In December, 2008, this historical property once again changed hands to the current owners, Hilary England and Mark VanBuskirk.

From its individualized room decorations to the quaint front and back yards to the delicious country breakfast, staying at The Alexander Benjamin House is a truly memorable and fun experience.
We pride ourselves on taking excellent care of our guests and making them feel at home from the first moment they step into our home.
Mark VanBuskirk is a local area Realtor, and also a counselor for the mentally disabled. With a 20 year background in Christian ministry, he is a caring and compassionate friend to the community.
Hilary England is a full time artist with primary focus on realism and contemporary impressionism. Renovations on our onsite art studio are just about complete, so feel free to pop in and visit our gallery and studio.
